Detailed History

The first week of Hostility Wrestling Federation kicked off with an announcement of the World Title being up for grabs in a tournament. Featuring every wrestler on the roster, the finals eventually boiled down to three men: Chris Hollister, Eric Corven, and Mad Max. As if fighting for the World Title at Hostility's first PPV, 'Misery', wasn't big enough, a special guest referee, Reaper, put a controversial end to the epic match by swinging his "kick of death" at Mad Max, but missing and hitting Chris Hollister. Eric Corven picked up the pieces and went on to become HWF's first World Champion.

Eric Corven... Coyote Bronson... round three. These two men squared off in what was Hostility's most memorable series of matches. With the first two rounds going to Eric Corven due to interference, both athletes were determined to have a fair bout. At the October 28th edition of South of Heaven, Corven and Coyote had each other's back if someone were to run in on their match. HWF Aversion Champion, James Milenko, had a bone to pick with Coyote and ran in. Corven tried to stop the Aversion Champion's rampage, but received a Milenkoville Slugger to the knee, thus putting Corven on the injured list and having him vacate the World Title.

Hostility's second PPV, 'Total Annihilation', came upon us on Sunday, November 11th. An extreme battle royale involved every member of the roster. It was a two ring, hell in a cell suicidal environment. Since Christian Vendetta was already the number one contender for Corven's title before the injury... HWF had to determine a number two contender for Vendetta to compete against, thus the battle royale was set in stone. Twelve plus men entered, and only Julian Fiasco survived. From that point, Vendetta vs. Fiasco was signed and had people saying, and in the end, Christian Vendetta came away with the hardware.

After a somewhat lengthy reign as World Champion of Hostility, Christian Vendetta became disenchanted with the wrestling industry. He hid away from the world, taking the World Title with him. However, Hostility management finally forced his hand and he returned for what ended up being his final match. As in the first World Title bout, the match was scheduled as a triple threat match featuring Steppen Scuragrec, Ozric Mortimer, and Vendetta. If Vendetta won the match, he would stick around to defend his title, but if he lost, he would vanish once again. The conclusion of the match saw Vendetta knocked unconscious at ringside while Mortimer surprised world with an amazing victory. Thus the reign of 'The Clown' commenced.

Two men, one World Title. From the moment Chris Bond and Mike Polowy stepped into a Hostility ring, it was destined that they'ed meet each other in such a fashion. With the World Title long vacated, these two men locked their eyes on the gold, and never looked away. While Mike Polowy was basically handed a shot at the title, Chris Bond earned his way to glory by defeating former World Champion, Ozric Mortimer, for the right to face Polowy. And when Aggravated Assault was all done and over with, it was Chris Bond, battered, bruised, and bloodied, that stood tall, with the World Title strapped firmly around his waist.

The main event of Hostility's first ever SuperShow was the battle for the World Title. Champion, Chris Bond, took on the best competition Hostility had to offer. However, the the cream of the crop isn't just one man... in fact there are several men that sit atop Hostility. Bond had to defend his title in a Fatal Fourway match against "The Mike Effect" Michael Polowy, former World Champion, "The Clown" Ozric Mortimer, and one of his closest friends, "The Hero" Talon. The match was long and arduous, and full of surprises and near falls. In the end, it looked like Mortimer had regained the World Title, however, the return of President James Milenko put an end to that. Using his Presidential power, Milenko restarted the match, as he didn't want Ozric to earn the title via a blatant chair shot behind the referee's back. After the continuation of the match, it was the man Ozric almost screwed over that made "The Clown" tap out to become the new World Champion. That man is... "The Hero"... Talon.

For two months, lasting nearly the entirety of Hostility's Bruise Cruise, the Highway to Hell Tournament chewed up and spit out the best that Hostility had to offer. But little did anyone realize, that it would be a man not even originally entered into the tournament, that would end up as the sole survivor. At Bloody Sunday, Steele defeated Simon Marks in the semi-finals, and Billy Jacobs in the finals to be named the #1 Contender for the World Title. Of course, he would have never gotten there if he had not impressed Hostility management by taking out both Mike Polowy and Dave Milenko with a steel chair during their first round match. But all of this was merely leading up to perhaps the biggest match on the biggest stage, in Hostility history. At South of Heaven, Talon defended his title against Steele, who had been doing his best to get inside the Champion's mind ever since being named his formal challenger. And at the conclusion of South of Heaven, albeit by dubious circumstances, Steven Steele defeated Talon to become the new World Champion.

Much like the situation Bobby Dean had found himself in, Steven Steele ended up defending his World Title just two weeks after winning it, during Hostility's first ever, Roulette Night. The main event of the evening, which was just as much a mystery as the rest of the card, saw Steven Steele in an Extreme Rules match against Johnny Donovan; a man who was not considered a World Title contender prior to the show. But luck was on Donovan's side that night, as the surprise title defense took its toll on Steele. With lack of focus and readiness, Steele dropped the World Title to the relative new-comer, thus beginning Donovan's journey as a Hostility champion... a World Champion nonetheless.

After winning the World Title at South of Heaven, Steven Steele started off his championship reign by actually calling out the man that would challenge him for the title. That man was Nathan Paradine. However, the match that was supposed to take place at Hostility's 'Stranglehold' Pay Per View would never actually come to pass... in a sense. Two weeks after winning the World Title, Steele lost the belt to Johnny Donovan during Roulette Night. After losing, Steele went on a bit of a hiatus, leaving Donovan to defend the title against his then Violence:Evolved stablemate, Nathan Paradine. Controversy struck, and Donovan ended up leaving V:E... conjuring up some bad blood between champion and challenger. Then with weeks to go before Stranglehold, Hugo Sterling was thrown into the mix due to his father's involvement with Hostile Violence Commissioner, Paige Johnson. However, in the the end, it seemed as though destiny prevailed, as Nathan Paradine, the only man originally slated to compete at Stranglehold for the World Title, walked away from the Pay Per View as the new Hostility World Champion.

One week after winning the World Title, Nathan Paradine was struck down by injury at the hands of his Violence:Evolved stablemate, Xander Daniels. That was just the beginning of the clusterfuck otherwise known as the Hostility World Title scene. Over the next few weeks, more and more men put their names into ring (so to speak), and lay claim to the World Title. Xander Daniels, HEroic Henry, Steven Steele (who would later quit the company), Chris Bond, a returning Nathan Paradine, and of course, Talon. Each week, a World Title match main evented Hostile Violence, with each ending in a no contest after a new contender interfered. Finally finding himself at wits end, President Milenko made a match for Misery III called the "Gold Rush Match". After the first three men were eliminated by pinfall or submission, only Talon and Chris Bond were left to climb a ladder to claim the company's top title. In the end, it was Industry founder, Chris Bond, who captured his second World Title.
